Stress can be a common reaction to emotional or psychological pressure or strain, which can be triggered by lifestyle demands becoming overwhelming and difficult to manage. In small amounts stress can be managed and controlled, however for some when stress becomes too excessive in can be detrimental to an individual’s health and daily functioning. Stress varies for each individual, although common sources of stress can include, long term health conditions, financial difficulties, family and relationship problems or feeling pressure to succeed in life.
